Gender Equality and Entrepreneurship for All

The educational material (tools and methodology) have been developed by project partners in the frame of GEEA - Gender Equality and Entrepreneurship for All, an Erasmus+ project.

Project GEEA will raise awareness of equal opportunities especially in VET education and will promote entrepreneurship education as a solution to gender gap in the employment rate. To reach the Europe 2020 objective of a 75% employment rate, particular attention needs to be given to the proportion of female entrepreneurs, at 33% (30% in start-ups), which is some way short of optimum and most women still do not consider entrepreneurship as a relevant career option. Young women should also benefit from the growing emphasis on entrepreneurship as one of the basic skills that schools should teach all pupils, girls or boys.

To this direction, the partnership of the project developed a specialized training programme, guidance resources for teachers and trainers and a Kit for students in order to promote equal opportunities and gender equality related to entrepreneurial skills through a personalization approach.

At the end of the review of the educational material, the user will be able to have the certification of attendance. This certification is not being recognized by official bodies, but still is an additional qualification for the job market.
