VET-READY - Enhancing Vocational Training for Disaster Preparedness and Resilience

The VET Ready Online Knowledge Hub provides access to the project's training curriculum through an engaging and interactive digital format. The Hub hosts the complete VET Ready Curriculum, consisting of 5 learning units and 6 training modules focused on emergency preparedness, resilience, crisis response, and recovery. Through practical and interactive learning experiences, participants will develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prepare for emergencies, respond effectively to crises, and support the safety and well-being of themselves, their families, and their communities.

Curriculum Structure
The curriculum is organized into:
  • 5 Learning Units
  • 6 Training Modules
  • Each module includes learning materials, practical examples, interactive activities, reflection exercises, and assessment components designed to support knowledge acquisition and real-life application.

The VET Ready Online Knowledge Hub includes:

  • Family Plan Generator
  • VET Ready Interactive Emergency Kit Assembly Guide and supporting videos
  • Pause & Reflect interactive scenarios
  • True/False scenario-based exercises
  • These interactive features encourage learners to apply their knowledge in realistic situations and strengthen their preparedness through experiential learning.

Objectives

The VET Ready Curriculum aims to equip VET and CVET educators and learners with practical knowledge and skills related to emergency preparedness, crisis response, and resilience building. Through the VET Ready Online Knowledge Hub, learners can access interactive learning materials, practical tools, and self-assessment activities designed to improve preparedness and promote a culture of resilience and safety.

Evaluation Methods

Each training module includes interactive quizzes and practical learning activities that allow learners to assess their understanding of the content. Additional activities, such as Pause & Reflect scenarios and True/False exercises, provide opportunities for self-assessment and the application of knowledge in realistic emergency situations.


Certification

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who successfully complete all modules and assessments available within the VET Ready Online Knowledge Hub.
